Checklist for Participants

Before the International Day

If you want to participate, register in our Moodle Group from Friday, May 3rd until Monday June 3rd. First, choose your country team! For each country team there is a database and a forum. Use them to get in contact with your team members and start organizing your booth!

Printing service
We can print photos and posters when uploaded until Sunday, June 2nd, in our online-form. Please decide together with your team members upon the posters and photos as we can only print up to 20 photos and/or one bigger poster per booth. Also indicate the printing format and poster size.

Interactive activities
At this year's International Day, we would like to encourage you to include (more) interactive activities (games, quizzes, dance workshops etc...) for the visitors into your booth presentation. We think that these interactive activities are a nice opportunity to present different aspects of your country, region & exchange destination. An easy way to draw your visitors into your booth and start nice conversations!

We are excited to see all your ideas! Register in Moodle here

During the International Day

Each booth will have a pinwall (120cm height x 150cm width), a table and two chairs. For bigger country teams (e.g. India), two tables and pinwalls can be provided.

In order to plan accordingly, we therefore need you to register in the Moodle group and the country team you are participating in!

We are trying to provide each booth with electricity for e.g. laptops. At the International Day there will be a mobile loudspeaker incl. a microfone for possible performances / activities / presentations. In case you want to use it for a performance, please enter your team in the reservation list in the Moodle group so that all teams can plan accordingly.

After the International Day

Reimbursement of your costs
Costs for decoration of the booth, for fingerfood and beverages can be reimbursed up to an amout of 30€ per booth. We can provide a higher budget for big teams, but only according to prior agreement!
Note: We can not reimburse costs for clothes or hiring professional services, e.g. an external dancer.

For each team only one person can make the reimbursement request, means one student can be indicated in the reimbursement form. Please fill in your data in the rectangular brackets [] on the computer (no handwriting). Don't forget the team's name on the top! Only original bills from an official company are applicable. Consequently, we can not accept handwritten bills.

Alcoholic drinks can only be reimbursed with a separate, original bill. Please submit an extra reimbursement form together with the receipts.

Submission: Please keep the original bills and submit them at the office of the Infopoint Mathematics, MI 00.10.052, after the International Day from 6th June to 5th July 2019. Please check the opening hours on the Infopoint's website.

Process of reimbursement: All requests and bills will be collected and then will be forwarded together for booking in July 2019. The costs will be presumably reimbursed in August.

Certificates
Due to the low demand for certificates, we no longer issue certificates for participants. Please contact your respective departmental contact person, if you have a question in that regard.
