Professor Klaus Schreckenbach

Klaus Schreckenbach was professor at the institute Experimental Physics E21. His areas of research were physics with low energy positrons, particle physics of the free neutron and nuclear reactor physics. Klaus Schreckenbach studied physics at the TU Munich, spent one year at the Brookhaven National Laboratory in USA and many years at the ILL in Grenoble, France. From 1999 until the end of 2005 he was the Technical Director of FRM II and as such responsible for the start-up and the begin of routine operation of this neutron facility.
