Laura Kuen

is a Master student of social and cultural anthropology and environmental studies at LMU Munich and the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society. She is working on human-environment relations, visual anthropology and ethnographic filmmaking with a regional interest in Russia. Laura has studied in Munich and Venice, and has conducted visual ethnographic fieldwork in Kirov, Russia, and Munich. She received her BA from LMU Munich in 2015. Currently Laura is a research assistant within the 100Places:M project at the MCTS.

Nika Pitkänen

studied social and cultural anthropology as well as philosophy at LMU Munich (both BA), and is currently enrolled in the social and cultural anthropology master programme at LMU Munich, and environmental studies at RCC. Her interests in philosophy were diverse but often touched topics of practical philosophy, her final thesis analysed Foucault’s Discourse Theory with its applications in gender studies. Nika’s interests in social and cultural anthropology are relations between ecological and religious movements (dark green religions), and social movements of post development, Pluriverse, Nature’s Rights and Nature-Human-Non-Human interactions. Currently Nika is a research assistant within the 100Places:M project at the MCTS.

Tobias Bahne

has been participating, and facilitating international Co-Creation-Design projects with the “MIT”. He was invited as a speaker to the 2013 annual meeting of the “Japan Society For Interiour Studies” and his bachelor thesis „Humanitarian Design“ which focused on an interdisciplinary and participatory design process was published as a student paper from the “International Development Innovation Network”. He studied "Product-Design" at the „Bauhaus-Universität-Weimar“ and the „Nagoya-Zokei University“ in Japan and is presently enrolled in the “Industrial-Design” master program at the TU Munich. He is working as an assistant for the Professorship for Participatory Technology Design at the Munich Center for Technology in Society to further specialize on participatory approaches.

Fanny Brandauer

is a Master student of Landscape Architecture at the TU Munich. Responsible for organisation, administration and research she is a student assistant to Prof. Ignacio Farías at the Munich Centre for Technology in Society since July 2016. As a prospective landscape architect, she is especially interested in the participatory aspect concerning the design of (urban) public spaces.

Anna Gonchar

is a bachelor student of Architecture at the TU Munich. Responsible for the layout of publications she is a student assistant to Prof. Ignacio Farías at the Munich Centre for Technology in Society since december 2015. Interested in the improvement of the social interaction between architecture and urbanism she found her way to the professorship of Participatory Technology Design.

Frederike Müller-Späth

is currently doing her master‘s degree in Cultural Anthropology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-UniversitätMünchen. Her research and studies focus on urban studies as well as on alternativ-and subcultures. Ruth Stärcke

is studying Architecture at the Technische Universität München. She will be completing her Bachelor‘s degree in summer 2016. Her study interests are urban development and energy efficient and sustainable design and building. She is working as a student assistent at the MCTS since April 2015, overtaking tasks of layouting and organisation.
