Since 2014 Professor Claudia Waskow holds a professorship in the Department of "regeneration of hematopoiesis" at the Institute of Immunology at the Medical Faculty of the TU Dresden [more ...]. From 2008 to 2014, she was group leader at the DFG Research Center for Regenerative Therapies in Dresden (CRTD). After receiving her doctorate, Claudia Waskow worked at the Rockefeller University in New York (2005-2008). 2016, Claudia Waskow received the "GSCN 2016 Female Scientist Award" from the german stem cell network. Since 2017, she has been a professor of immunology of aging at the Leibniz Institute for Aging Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI).

Susann Rahmig is PhD student in Claudia Waskows group and was awarded in 2015 with the Carl Gustav Carus Award for outstanding research publication [more ...]. Dr. Rahmig currently holds a postdoctoral position at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine at the University of Oxford, UK.
