The research group CAPS (Computer Aided Plastic Surgery) won the second prize of the Mimics Innovation Award 2017 in the EMEA region. The prize is endowed with 1,500 euros. The CAPS group won the Award for the work titled "Preoperative prediction of breast cancer in breast reconstruction surgery based on CT angiography images" in the 23rd Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics. The conference was held from 2-5 July 2017, in Seville, Spain.
