Objectives

Battery-Less Low Temperature Avionics and System Study

This ESA-funded study aims at investigating the relevant aspects (thermal environments and related requirements, assessment and collection of technology options, simulation and assessment of a battery-less system in the chosen environment, guidelines and recommendations for future missions) in depth, and hereby preparing the ground for future missions that utilise these technologies.

TUM contributes thermal analyses and expertise in thermal engineering for this study
