Technologies, Solutions and Perspectives for ITS

Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS) provide a wide variety of solutions to existingtransport problems and to the ecological and societalchallenges presented by an increasing demand formobility. With growing capabilities of information andcommunication techniques, the participants of themobility system are becoming increasinglyconnected. A future with high fidelity transportinformation in a seamlessly connected mobile worldfor all types of traveler draws ever nearer. In order torespond to the multifaceted character of thesedevelopments, science and practice within themobility domain involve an increasingly broad rangeof different disciplines.

The mobil.TUM conference 2015 will therefore onceagain serve as an opportunity for internationaldialogue across disciplines on the latest challengesand achievements in ITS. The conference isorganized by the Chair of Traffic Engineering andControl at the Institute for Transportation of TUM (Technische Universität München). It will explore thevarious aspects of Intelligent Transport Systems,focusing on the latest technologies and solutions andthe perspectives for which they allow. The conferencewill consist of paper sessions, poster sessions andpanel discussions.
