Mobility Concepts
The average car in Germany is moved only about 40 km and is not moved for about 22 hours every day. This is why the question arises if every user actually needs his own vehicle or if intelligent sharing of cars could be suitable too.
More and more pilot projects on Car-Sharing and Car-on-Demand concepts have been launched and tested in recent years. The analyses show very good acceptance especially of young people who like a high rate of flexibility. Furthermore, the communication via internet and mobile phones offers totally new possibilities to develop new forms of mobility in the future and optimize them for certain user groups and locations.
