Differences and and similarities in the field of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) between Germany and Japan was the main subject of the presentation from professor Seiko Shirasaka, professor Kane Ishibashi ( both from the Keio University in Tokyo) and professor Toshiro Obata (University of Tokyo). Furthermore the BSE graduate programm at the Keio University was discussed. Here the research focus was on system development methodologies, system innovation and system assurance.
