New supplementary subject "Skillfully managing innovation processes" (SFB 768 Seminar)

Planning innovations - is that even possible? Innovations are far more than technical achievements - what does it all involve? Technical and social constraints change on a regular basis - how can companies make targeted use of them?

The aim of the new lecture "Skillfully managing innovation processes" is to provide a comprehensive insight into the management of innovation processes in modern companies, which goes far beyond the purely technical perspective. Based on results and current questions of the Collaborative Research Center 768 "Managing Cycles in Innovation Processes – Integrated Development of Product-Service Systems Based on Technical Products", internal and external factors influencing the innovation process will be presented and discussed on the basis of an integrated case study. Speakers from the disciplines of mechanical engineering, business informatics and sociology will explain how different influencing factors affect the innovation process and how their mutual dependencies must be taken into account in order to successfully implement innovations.
