In September 2011, the Satellite Network of Experts organized this year's SatNExIII Summer School in Siena, Italy. The summer school is well known for it's excellent talks about recent topics in satellite communication like "exploitation of Q/V bands", "Delay Tolerant Networking" or "DVB-S2 and DVB-RCS".

As an official series of lectures to gain ECTS points, the participant's knowledge is certified by written tests. Sebastian Knogl from our institute joined the summer school and was awarded with the "Best Student Award" due to his excellent results in the tests. Congratulations!
