The OBTC Doctoral Institute is a one-day, preconference workshop dedicated to providing promising new teacher-scholars with personal and professional development opportunities. The goals of the OBTC Doctoral Institute are to:
- Provide participants with professional development in the area of teaching excellence.
- Explore with participants how they can become productive scholars and teachers, while also enjoying arewarding personal life.
- Help participants begin to build a lasting network of fellow teacher-scholars.
Deadline to Apply for a Scholarship: 01.03.2016
Full scholarships with additional travel assistance will be offered on a competitive basis. Scholarship recipients will receive:
- Registration for the one-day Doctoral Institute and the following four-day Teaching Conference
- $200 in tr avel assistance
- All meals, dormitory housing, and social activities for the DI as well as the Teaching Conference
- Membership in OBTS for one year, including subscriptions to the award-winning Journal of Management Education and Management Teaching Review
