The OBTC Doctoral Institute is a one-day, preconference workshop dedicated to providing promising new teacher-scholars with personal and professional development opportunities. The goals of the OBTC Doctoral Institute are to:

  1. Provide participants with professional development in the area of teaching excellence.
  2. Explore with participants how they can become productive scholars and teachers, while also enjoying arewarding personal life.
  3. Help participants begin to build a lasting network of fellow teacher-scholars.

Deadline to Apply for a Scholarship: 01.03.2016

Full scholarships with additional travel assistance will be offered on a competitive basis. Scholarship recipients will receive:

  1. Registration for the one-day Doctoral Institute and the following four-day Teaching Conference
  2. $200 in tr avel assistance
  3. All meals, dormitory housing, and social activities for the DI as well as the Teaching Conference
  4. Membership in OBTS for one year, including subscriptions to the award-winning Journal of Management Education and Management Teaching Review
