Prof. Rüdiger von Eisenhart-Rothe and his researchers are working on the interface between biology and technology. They are looking to increase the biocompatibility of implants and use robotic systems to characterize the biomechanical properties of joints and engineered cartilage. At the same time, they facilitate tumor operations with new navigation methods and create lifelike training conditions with a birth simulator.
