BauHow5: Building Diversity

A workshop and discussion forum on the representation of gender, sexuality, ethnicity and disability in architectural education, practice and research. The workshop is supported by the BauHow5 alliance. The TUM Department of Architecture is part of this research network.

BauHow5 is the alliance of five leading research-intensive universities in Architecture and the Built Environment in Europe. Its objectives are to promote innovation in architectural research and practice as well as to increase cross-border collaboration between those involved in research, development, education, business and policy-making.

Members of the alliance are: The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment of the University College London (UCL), The School of Architecture of Chalmers University of Technology (CH), The Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Department of Architecture of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ), The Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
