Architecture, urban and landscape design impacts environmental performance, well-being and health in indoor as well as in outdoor environments. Corona has grown the awareness of the importance of public realm as a social and environmental glue. Climate adaptation and new mobility strategies will lead to a transformation of our built environment. Research provides a better understanding about human perception. However, a scientific understanding of well-being informs design; sensuality is causing emotions, which are as important to create well-being.
