AEC Hackathon

The TUM Leonhard Obermeyer Center hosts the first AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Hackathon in Germany. The workshop is enabled by the companies Autodesk and Microsoft, and takes place at the Department of Architecture from March 31 to April 2, 2017.

The Hackathon is to give those designing, building and maintaining our built environment the opportunity to collaborate with cutting edge technologies and its developers and designers. It’s a weekend of geeking at its finest for improving the industries that affect all that live or work in a house or building. 

Connect with Experts: We will have a selection of the top developers and industry professionals at the event.
Learn: To equip you with the skills to apply worfklows during the hackathon we have organized dedicated dev prep workshops free of charge.
Test out new Technologies: We will have plenty of interesting new software and hardware solutions, robots, 3D printers, drones, AR/VR-glasses, which you can try out first hand.

If you would like to start a team or are looking for a team to join, be sure to attend the Friday evening mixer or make an announcement at the opening ceremony of the event on Saturday. You can also propose or join a team via our forum, Meetup Community, Facebook page, and LinkedIn.
A Hackathon is an intense event that brings together computer programmers like software developers, designers and user interface specialists along with industry process experts and professionals to identify issues and create software solutions, usually within a weekend.roup.
This is a very hands-on and grassroots event. Bring your laptops, mobile phones, Kinects, Oculus Rifts, Leap Motions, wearable computing devices, to whatever inspires you but above all, your energy and your brain! Don’t worry if you forget something, there will be tons of stuff to do.
