10 years of ClimaDesign

On the occasion of ten years of ClimaDesign a symposium on "Recent and New Approaches to the Interaction between Humans and the Built Environment" will take place at the TUM Department of Architecture next week on December 5, 2018.

What are the next challanges we need to face? Do we need a stronger bond between research, education and industry? Selected speakers of the symposium will adress this issue from different angles:

  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Gerhard Hausladen (TUM, IB Hausladen)
  • Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Auer (TUM, Transsolar)
  • Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Herzog (THOMAS HERZOG ARCHITEKTEN)
  • Prof. Dipl. Ing. Dr. Michael U. Hensel (TU Wien - OCEAN Architecture / Environment)
  • Daniele Santucci, M.Sc. (ClimaDesign - TUM)
  • Kristian Edwards (Snøhetta)
  • Billie Faircloth (Kieran Timberlake)
  • Ahmed Zahran (Karmsolar)

The symposium initiates the collaboration between the Chair of Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design at the Technical University in Munich and the Department of Digital Architecture and Planning at the Technical University in Vienna

After the symposium a Get Together and the ClimaDesign Graduation Ceremony is hosted at the ClimaLab.
